The officer checks your English in 2 steps.
First comes a conversation: questions and requests in English. If that goes well, the road signs come next, including electronic message signs.
Since June 25, 2025, this check counts in roadside inspections. The course trains exactly those two steps.

Still wondering?
Do I need to know English to start?
No. All explanations are in Portuguese (or Spanish). The English comes slowly, repeated, and you answer out loud.
Can I listen while driving?
Yes. The lessons are made to play over the truck's Bluetooth. Press play with the truck parked, then just listen.
What if the course isn't right for me?
You have 7 days to ask for your money back. Just write to [email protected].
Who makes the course?
Pronto School, an independent school of audio courses. The content comes from public sources (CVSA, FMCSA, MUTCD). The school has no connection to the US government, the DOT or the FMCSA, and the outcome of any inspection depends on the day and the officer.
